Make easy connections between your
TTL equipment and RS-232 ports.
All models convert two channels in each direction from TTL to RS-232 or RS-422. Model 232OTTL offers 2000 V optical isolation between the RS-232 and TTL sides and runs at a maximum baud rate of 38.4 kbps.
The RS-232 side is port powered. The TTL side requires +12 VDC at 100 mA isolated from the RS-232 side.
B&B Electronics also has several non isolated TTL converters that can run at a maximum baud rate of 115.2 kbps: Model 232LPTTL is a port-powered version with DB9 connectors. Model 422TTL is an RS-422 to TTL converter that requires +12 VDC and has DB25 connectors. Model 232TTL requires +12 VDC and has DB25 connectors
